Stephen Ramponi is a Rhode Island-based founder and longtime Newport local who graduated from Salve Regina University. A proud father, Stephen’s greatest pride is his son Stevie Jr., now a freshman at Providence College. He also enjoys time with his dog Turbo, good friends, and life on the Rhode Island coast.

As a serial entrepreneur, his career has spanned tech startups, real estate, product ventures, and more. A passionate foodie who loves to cook, Stephen created Salt & Pearl after recognizing a gap in Newport’s event scene — plenty of luxury, but few experiences that felt fresh and interactive.
